Both are important to the primary purpose of regulation, which is public protection. Don't be fooled by the few who are spreading misinformation. Regulation under the law is better for service recipients than voluntary certification. BUT it is a change and change can be hard.

@ontariobcbeh @TheDaily_BA Interesting take. Pretty sure both of the universities currently providing ABA programs would qualify for accreditation. The only one that wouldn't is the M. ADS program because it's course based

@TheDaily_BA @JaimeBCBA The ed progs in ON fear that they can’t meet the standards as the standards move toward ABAI accreditation standards. I suspect ON prog leads are hoping they can jump on the APBA bus to buy time. Fact is ON doesn’t have programs in behavior analysis. Just VCS w/in soft sci progs.

Whats everyone think of this APBA accreditation pathway? I believe ABA professional orgs are uncoordinated and off the mark. We need solutions to a lot of things and building the same things already built adds unnecessary confusion and is a waste of resources. #behaviortwitter

@TheDaily_BA Misread your post. You're absolutely right. With that being said though, a lot of programs are still being excluded from accreditation because of their format. Such as not requiring a thesis and being course based. APBA helps with that

I am in no way racist. With the tiktok kid ‘Mizzy’ in London destroying a store, American blacks destroying an entire city THEIR OWN CITY. Now with the majority of France’s looters being African America if makes you wonder what is the common denominator causing this behavior. Whites have plenty of their own problems for sure but by far and wide there is a black culture of looting Target and Nike stores. There are more whites in America yet more black on black crime is committed. I am just wondering what as a community do we have to do to help curve this issue and help our fellow man?

@JaimeBCBA @Delta56ca @KatSpeaksNB So ur mixing up your words now. Aerosol is one route of spread and contact is completely different. Then it's an open air environment vs closed. Third there is a minimum amount of contact time that is also required in order to spread a germ.

@JaimeBCBA @Delta56ca @KatSpeaksNB No dude I relied on science. Contact transmission is not the vast majority of spread. It's aerosol. So getting rid of the flag when ur already in a stadium with thousands of people...yeah contact transmission isn't by any stretch the main factor in spread.
