@JOURN0_ABHISHEK As reported by Patiala dn it is intimated that   compensation payable in case of loss of registered article is Rs. 100/- as per DOP Rules (Letter no.28-10/2013-PO Dated 21.03.2013).

Paid @IndiaPostOffice for home pickup. Waited 10 days — no one assigned, no one came, no calls. Complained, they closed it saying "no one was home." Bold lie. Booked @DTDC_India instead. Picked up in 10 hours. Demanding a refund. This isn't a service failure, it's fraud.
