Apart from the header at… He’s done very well. Take into consideration how bad Newcastle have been under Howe this season. Intensity and leading the press hasn’t been there all season so for me, the manager has failed to get the best out of his players in my opinion. I watched NW in Germany last year and could tell instantly he is a 2 man striker. Or with an attacking mid running off him like Wirtz for Germany. So having the most stubborn 1 dimensional manager in the league that’s never played with an attacking mid, a flat standard 3 midfield and wingers having to hold both fullbacks hands. He’s done very well all things considered. Isak had the ability to do everything while NW needs the ball to his feet. Howe has proved over 4 seasons that Newcastle to win games need to move the ball quick and catch teams high up the pitch. Set up and manager doesn’t suit NW. what I will say though is he needs to become less selfish. We need killer instinct up front when 90% of teams dominate us in the league
