James Franklin’s name is heating up fast for a college football job after being fired by Penn State. We stated here before James Franklin's number one choice is Florida State! He might consider VA tech or Arkansas if Mike Norvell is not shown the door.

@sekrah Remember it can go the other way as well. Two Virginia Tech legends Jim Druckenmiller and Kevin Jones came from Pennsylvania. Jones was the #1 recruit in the nation. Not only could VT boost its in state recruiting, Franklin could have the Hokies fishing in PA again

Staying in the region upped the number of PSU players James Franklin will end up taking with him. The haul Va Tech will get will be stunning. The Penn State job just got even more difficult than it already was - with a rabid fan base who were not satisfied with CFP Semifinals.

@AmpedRealtor @AndyBitterVT Portal works both ways as does disloyalty, lot of programs push players into the portal to make room on the roster which seems like was the case for that Alabama transfer we had that didn’t work out. Big money also trumps school ties 💰💰💰

This move puts the RTD's newsroom further away from the city and state cap than nearly every other newsroom in Richmond, including remote ones like mine and @sabrinaamorenoo's. You can't cover Richmond from the suburbs of the metro's smallest county.
