🇺🇸American banks are overloaded with data centre financing requests. Instead of approving credit at their own risk, banks are offering “opportunities” to outside investors to share in the financing deals. Only 2 companies, Oracle and CoreWeave, have already borrowed hundreds of billions of dollars for data centres / AI labs. Those denied bank credit started issuing bonds privately. Are US banks: A) Already smelling the bust, covering their butts; B) Missing on the opportunity of a lifetime; C) Other?

I see this story every 6 months in one form or another “coup in Moscow”, “Putin under threat.” Maybe one day it sticks. Until then, treat it for what it is: European intelligence reports on the risk of a coup d'état in Russia involving Shoigu, according to CNN. Since the beginning of March, the Kremlin and Putin have been extremely concerned about leaks of sensitive information and the threat of a conspiracy. In particular, the dictator fears the use of drones for an assassination attempt by members of his own "elite". The FSO has implemented unprecedented security measures: • Putin has stopped visiting residences in the Valdai and Moscow regions. He spends most of his time in bunkers (including in Kuban). • Propagandists are using pre-recorded video materials to create the illusion of the dictator's public activity. • Mobile internet is periodically shut down in Moscow. Employees working with Putin are forbidden to use phones with internet access. After the elimination of Lieutenant General Fanil Sarvarov in December 2025, "security forces" began to massively accuse each other of security failures. Currently, the Kremlin has strengthened the protection not only of Gerasimov, but also of ten key generals (pictured).

People keep asking me where I see this war going and it’s probably easier to put it like this: Do you remember in 2022, when striking deep inside Russia was considered a red line? Back then, Putin’s “three-day” invasion wasn’t just built on catastrophic intelligence failures, but also on fear. Ukraine was actively discussing the encirclement of Donetsk and pushing Russian forces out once and for all. Fast forward to 2026: Russia has annexed more territory than it can realistically hold, sustained over 1.3 million casualties, and failed to achieve its original objectives. Ukraine, meanwhile, has levelled the playing field. Russia no longer dictates the tempo of the battlefield, and strikes inside Russian territory are no longer the exception, they’re becoming routine. This war, in my view, won’t be decided purely on the battlefield. It will break one way or another economically or politically. Putin has already failed, he just doesn’t know it yet.
