Dr. Keith Ikinu Gachagua is the second-born son of former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and Pastor Dorcas Wanjiku Rigathi. He’s a medical doctor who also helps run the family businesses. Keith first came into the public eye during the 2022 deputy presidential debate when Gachagua spoke about his family, calling it the basic unit of society. Gachagua and Dorcas have been married for over 35 years and their firstborn son, Kelvin Gachagua, is a software engineer. Academically, Dr. Keith is a top performer. He attended Alliance Boys High School and ranked 17th nationally in the 2010 KCSE with an A plain of 86.92 points. After high school he joined the University of Nairobi to study Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, graduating in December 2019 after six years. Gachagua later posted that he and his wife were “overwhelmed with excitement” attending Keith’s graduation, thanking God for seeing him through the demanding course.

When a "presidential" candidate takes one hour live on air telling one community how they are hated, targetted and discriminated against what do you call that if NOT tribalism? In one hour live interview in Kikuyu language, no mention of how he will change the economy, poverty levels, eliminate Jiggers , promote boychild and eradicate drugs, improve Trade and cash crops or promote health . What kind of a leader is this? A tribalist ! Mlima is diving in to deep HOLE lead by a blind chauvinistic fellow full of self entitlement. Call me names but this is a fact .

@C_NyaKundiH The only way to calm our emotionally and highly hyper active politics and realize prosperity and development is to remove the issue of the term limit in our constitution to allow any president to work for Kenyans with pressure.

Kenyans should be very careful with this impeachment noise around Ruto. A weak impeachment attempt does not always weaken a president. Sometimes it strengthens him. Bill Clinton survived impeachment and came out looking like a victim of political overreach. Donald Trump turned impeachment into a persecution campaign and used it to harden his base. Hugo Chávez used a failed removal attempt to purge enemies and rally loyalists. Even Uhuru and Ruto turned the ICC cases into political fuel in 2013. So before Kenyans start shouting “impeach Ruto,” ask yourself….impeach him with which Parliament? The same MPs who clap for him, beg him, defect to him, disappear when needed, and vote exactly as instructed? If Ruto already controls Parliament, then impeachment talk can easily become a trap. It can help him test loyalty, expose weak MPs, rally his side, create a victimhood narrative, and make the opposition look unserious when the motion collapses. Not every loud political move is resistance. Some of these things are traps acting as courage. Kenyans must stop waiting for captured MPs to rescue them from the same system those MPs are feeding from.

SOCIAL MEDIA ADVERT ASSISTS POLICE TO DISMANTLE MOBILE PHONE THEFT RING A social media advert on a popular platform today set in motion a chain of events that culminated in a major recovery of stolen mobile phones and the arrest of two suspects in Nairobi's Central Business District. A woman whose mobile phone had been stolen at a school along Ngong Road came across an online advert featuring a handset that closely matched her missing device. She reported the matter to police officers, who immediately launched an investigation. Using mobile tracking technology, officers traced the phone's signal to the heart of the Central Business District — to a building near Khoja Stage. What initially appeared to be a single stolen phone case quickly unfolded into a much larger discovery. Inside, police recovered the complainant's handset together with several other assorted high-value mobile phones, most of which are suspected to have been stolen from unsuspecting members of the public. Two suspects found within the premises were arrested and taken into police custody while investigations continue. The successful operation underscores the growing role of technology in crime detection and highlights the importance of public vigilance. What started as a stolen phone report ended with the disruption of a suspected criminal enterprise and the recovery of twenty-two mobile phones, delivering a significant blow to those profiting from stolen property. The National Police Service remains committed to serving and protecting the public by sustaining operations aimed at combating criminal activities. Members of the public are encouraged to continue reporting suspicious activities to the nearest police station or via the emergency numbers 999, 911 or through the #FichuaKwaDCI toll-free line 0800 722 203 and WhatsApp number 0709 570 000.

19 SUSPECTS ARRAIGNED IN SH14 BILLION SACCO FRAUD SCANDAL Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) headquarters Investigations Bureau have today brought before court nineteen individuals linked to a sophisticated fraud scheme that saw a Sacco lose over Sh14 billion. The matter came to light after the Sacco Societies Regulatory Authority submitted a formal request to the DCI, urging an inquiry into serious allegations of financial misconduct and embezzlement by Sacco officials. An immediate investigation unveiled a web of deceit, where Sacco officials acted in concert, blatantly violating their fiduciary duties. They manipulated financial records, irregularly transferred members’ funds, unlawfully disbursed loans, and failed to account for significant amounts entrusted to their care. Two interconnected fraudulent schemes were identified. The first saw a decade-long manipulation of loan disbursement figures from 2012 to 2021, leading to fictitious loans totalling an astonishing Sh13,483,350,322. The second scheme involved the illegitimate formation and operation of an Investment Cooperative Society Limited. This was a facade that allowed officials to divert Sacco funds, misappropriating Sh750,766,304 under the guise of land acquisition and investment opportunities in Kitengela. The suspects, comprising former and current officials of the Sacco, include Christopher Kahuno, Samuel Ndungu, John Kimani, James Kamau, Patrick Kimando, Francis Kamau, Benson Mwangi, Paul Wathika, Geoffrey Kamau, Duncan Chege, Francis Wachiuru, George Mwihia, Daniel Lee, Joseph Gachunga, Boniface Muthama, Rosemary Njeri, Edward Duncan, Lucy Njambi, and James Mutaiga. They now face a barrage of charges, including conspiracy to defraud, stealing by directors or officers, fraudulent false accounting, obtaining credit by false pretences, failure to maintain proper books of accounts, and operating non-core investment businesses without statutory approval, among other offences. Appearing before the Milimani Law Courts today, all the suspects pleaded not guilty to the charges and were granted a bond of Sh200,000 with one surety each. The case is set for mention on June 22, 2026. The DCI remains steadfast in its commitment to dismantling complex financial crime networks and protecting millions of hardworking Kenyans who rely on Saccos as pillars of economic empowerment and financial security. #FichuaKwaDCI. Shock as former President Uhuru Kenyatta quietly lands back in the country and immediately calls for a closed-door meeting with Jubilee presidential candidate Fred Matiang’i. Sources close to the meeting say the two leaders are planning a major political announcement that could completely shake up Kenya’s political landscape ahead of 2027. The sudden move has already sparked tension and excitement across the country, with political observers now asking one big question: What are Uhuru and Matiang’i planning behind the scenes? All eyes are now on Jubilee as insiders hint at a powerful comeback strategy that could change the direction of national politics. A storm may be coming in Kenyan politics.

Hassan Omar Hassan was fully cognizant of the tribal diatribes he was spewing, he is not an amateur in politics, ironically, he is a trained lawyer. He was only saying what he believes and what his masters discuss in the boardroom talk; outside the purview of the public, and what they pass in their subminal message to Mt. Kenya. Issuing an apology will not change his tribal perspective, or those of his masters. As a matter of fact, he can keep his apology!
