@olsonplanner One of the most surprising things to me has been that nobody asks if I am a CFP. Nobody. I am asked about Fiduciary status frequently. It has actually dissuaded me from pursuing CFP status for the time being.

I am a fiduciary and have been since 2005. But I am NOT a certified financial planner (CFP). If we simplify this discussion down to weighing experience versus education, how much does this matter to you, as a hypothetical prospective client? You won’t hurt my feelings. 😉

@jratcliff Good call--MOST people should take SS as soon as they can. I have run the numbers on many people and created a software program to demonstrate it.

Please pray for Olivia Weatherford today. She’s a little warrior from Cleveland, TN who has stage 4 neuroblastoma. Her family is asking for prayer as they try to get her home for possibly her last days. These are the specific prayers they asked for: - That her stomach does what it needs to in order to decrease pressure on her body - That her liver calms down and doesn’t progress before they can get control - That her lungs stay strong enough to get her stable and comfortable where they can evaluate everything - That she can get stable enough to drive home - For her not to be in pain And I’d add this: - Pray for her loved ones that they are surrounded by love, healing and peace - Pray for a miracle
