Spent 20 minutes looking back for this tweet to ask. WHY are you so sure having cash-flowing assets will do anything? I'm convinced the world is basically going to end with AI within 10 years (all the good parts anyway)...why would owning real estate stop that? I agree that in the short term the haves and have nots assumption is assured. I've got maybe $30k/month in passive CF but who the hell is going to pay the rent if 90% of all good jobs are being done by AI agents? - BTW long time listener (GSele + book) first time caller.

Here's something I think about as a father of young children: The current economic headwinds and AI revolution are going to create such a gap between the haves and have nots. - my kids will never drive - where they go to college won't matter - traditional career paths do not apply If you are making $200k-1mm a year, you will get left behind, and so will your kids. You have a window of 2-3 years to establish generational wealth, real estate, and a diversified pool of cash flow producing assets. And the only way to allow your children to flourish is to encourage them to pursue passion projects - whereby the focus is happiness and personal fulfillment.

Employees: If you're thinking you have an easy job putting in 2-3 hours a day and taking home a full time wage...when things get tight you're gonna be gone. Be proactive, figure out other ways to make yourself useful to the company and get more hours in. If not you'll be first on the block.

Do you really believe that you can come in and win by doing it part-time? Do you really think you can match the excelence of virtue by treating it as a side project. There are guys out there, who are on whole different level, who have skills, connections, resources, experience and are miles away from you and yet, they still grind and are being obsessed about what they do like its their first day. You are competing against that. You and that guy are hunting in the same forest. Get it to your head little ducky. You are starting this race from last point. And you will never catch up with your half-assed attitude.
