@ryanwrs1 @AnfieldSector No those types of players are already versatile
English

@AnfieldSector So that would be the versatile attacker, so it’d be a gordon like player + Barcola or Diomande?
English

Liverpool’s interest in Gordon’s versatility across several forward positions pretty much shows the type of attacker they’re after this summer.
Anfield Sector@AnfieldSector
[🟢] NEW: Liverpool will make signing at least one winger a priority this summer, after Mohamed Salah’s departure, and Anthony Gordon’s versatility in playing multiple positions across the front line also appeals to them. The RB Leipzig teenager Yan Diomande features prominently on Liverpool’s list of targets as they gear up for a key summer. [@_pauljoyce] Comment from me: Barcelona are currently leading the race for Anthony Gordon in an £80m deal.
English

Jeremy Jacquet on his decision to join Liverpool over Chelsea and other clubs:
“I’d been talking to them for a long time. It didn’t happen in the span of a week… I spoke with the management; the club’s history weighed heavily on my decision, but so did the project they offered me.”

@miLo_LFC20 @AnfieldSector Icl Arne Slot has got pull. How he got Isak twerking so bad for us got me thinking what did Slot even tell him
English

@Rashfordbobby10 @eiiSilver @AURAGOALX @GNev2 Yeah, Trent against Fulham last season and it was an Own Goal :/
English

@eiiSilver @AURAGOALX @GNev2 Haven't you seen a player shot before and it hits the bar bounce back on keeper's back or leg then went inside net while the player gets the goal as his own why are you all trying to take a goal away from Dorgu just because it's Bruno who assisted it
English

🚨🗣️ Gary Neville BLASTS Premier League officials over the controversy surrounding Patrick Dorgu’s goal
🗣️ Neville: “This is exactly why fans are losing trust in officiating.”
“A video is now going viral that appears to show the ball hit the crossbar before going in off Bart Verbruggen’s hand.”
“If that’s true, then it’s an own goal not a Patrick Dorgu goal.”
“And that means Bruno Fernandes may NOT have broken the assist record after all.”
“How can something this important still be unclear hours later?”
“We have VAR, goal replays, multiple camera angles… and people still don’t know what the official decision is.”
“That is embarrassing for the league.”
“Records matter in football history.”
“You cannot casually get these things wrong.”

English

@AnfieldSector Far as I'm concerned he's a fan that gets to stand on the touchline for some reason
Not my manager, hope the players can turn it around next year
English

Arne Slot on what he needs to change before next season:
"I think we have to do better in many phases of the game next season. So set-pieces is one, scoring goals from them and we have not scored enough goals from open play. We have not generated enough chances from open play.
"So, yeah, there are quite a lot of things that we have to improve but it has been shown at other clubs that making two signings in the winter break can make a massive effect.
"So I am not saying these two make the difference but sometimes you have to add stuff to a team so that the rest can evolve and get better as well.
"And that is completely normal for a club that is in transition. Especially at a club like this because we cannot complete a transition in one window, for obvious reasons.
"I think Jurgen Klopp's best team that was competing for every single trophy at that time took a few years to bring together as well.
"And we have made very good steps in terms of signings last summer and these players will evolve with the ones we already had and if we can add one or two then, I think, we as a group will look much better next year."

English

@AnfieldSector It's not just about next season tho! We already have so many players wanting to leave (Mo, Robbo, Curtis, Ali) because there's clearly something wrong in the relationship between the manager and the players. So who is it going to be next year then?
English

@Hamdulah387372 @Jordan22w Alonso literally doesn’t fit our system at all, not pressing football and player 3/5 atb
English

@Jordan22w Nah man Alonso wanted to sign for liverpool but the board doesn't wanna sack slot
English

@paulsatvik @AnfieldSector Because one was ill all week and one is coming back from an injury???
English

@AnfieldSector We’ve salah and wirtz and this bald egg decided not to bring on anyone after watching that pathetic first half.
English

@OmarHelwaaa @MVXLFC @AnfieldSector @_pauljoyce Literally made Salah have his best season ever buddy
English

@MVXLFC @AnfieldSector @_pauljoyce It's pissing me off, he doesn't deserve any more world class players he made every player look like shit
English

[🟢] INFO: Liverpool will prioritise the signing of wingers to improve performances, with Yan Diomande and Bradley Barcola among the many wide men that have been assessed.
[@_pauljoyce]

English

@AnfieldSector @_pauljoyce the fact they have faults to correct after spending 450m means they shouldn’t fucking be here. Hughes out. Edwards out.
English

[🟢] NEW: Internally, Liverpool remain in support of Slot and are planning another summer of signings to correct the faults that remain evident after last summer’s £450million spending spree.
[@_pauljoyce]
English

@EbEkowsam @AnfieldSector With a klopp team? Look at the signing they made ? He couldnt make them better. The inuuries arent his faults i mean some of them are. But seriously he has zero idea. Identity is shameful. Imagine Salah, Robbo, Ali probably Konate, Jones, Macca all leaving. Yeah cool
English

🚨 Arne Slot on speculation about his future:
“I think the world has gone to if a manager doesn't have their best season, it is always a debate. That is the new reality in football. Not up to me to judge the people that judge me. They have every right to that opinion and everyone can share that. Everyone used to do that in the pub now they can share it [everywhere]. Now it is more out in the open and it is the same everywhere. “

English

@MasonMLFC2 @AnfieldSector We do play entertaining football, we just can’t ever score, or if we do, finish it off
English

@AnfieldSector I despise slot. It’s genuinely impossible for us to be entertaining
English

Mamardashvili; Jones, Konate, Van Dijk, Kerkez; Szoboszlai, Mac Allister, Gravenberch, Frimpong, Gakpo, Ngumoha.
No Wirtz in the squad. 🔴
Anfield Sector@AnfieldSector
Liverpool XI: Mamardashvili, Van Dijk, Konate, Kerkez, Szoboszlai, Mac Allister, Jones, Gakpo, Frimpong, Gravenberch, Ngumoha. Subs: Woodman, Gomez, Isak, Chiesa, Robertson, Nyoni, Morrison, Ndiaye, Wright.

@mmmmcustard @lmaolotty I don’t think you really know the state of our immigration if you said that 😭😂😂
English

@lmaolotty If that bothers you go take a look outside your local hotel rammed with illegals. Check out their shitty little untaxed and uninsured deliveroo rotboxes.
I highly doubt you have any such hotel anywhere near you though do you?

the plot thickens

just voted and this is directly infront of the polling booth, how lovely…
English

@AnfieldSector We’ve always conceded a lot to counter attacks, but we’re normally more clinical I front of goal and have had a much better press :/
English

🚨 Arne Slot on the team not being as vulnerable to counter-attacks:
“In moments we have been vulnerable at counter-attacks. Not like we've conceded loads. At Manchester we conceded two. But that's not the only thing we've been vulnerable at. There are too many we have been at moments, but it would help if we scored more goals.
“Easier to control a game at 1-0 up than 1-0 down or 1-1. It's very clear and obvious where we have to IMPROVE, it's something we've tried to address throughout the season with ups and downs and will be something we will look at in the summer, first in the MARKET then the training ground!”

English

@AnfieldSector Think that makes sense! Literally spent over £100m on 2 new young CBs doesn’t make sense to buy another one imo. There are more pressing positions
English

[🟢] NEW: Liverpool are not looking to make a move for Marcos Senesi, with Ibrahima Konate close to a new, long-term deal at Anfield.
With Virgil van Dijk still at the club and Giovanni Leoni set to be joined by Jeremy Jacquet next season, Anfield figures have stressed that they are well set in the centre-back department.
[@ptgorst]

English

@Josh_m121 @Slotoholic Goes the same as us losing over 20 points by conceding to last minute winners this season buddy
English

@Slotoholic If we didn’t scam 15 points from last min winners at the beginning of the season , we’d be up for relegation
English

🚨 Arne Slot has been nominated for April's Premier League Manager of the Month award.
