Kyle and I had a really challenging existence for many years. But we luckily took the time to figure out our differences and that was something he instigated with a conversation in his bus around how we each managed our racing teams. I was super eager for us to get on better terms. But it was he who made the effort for that to be possible. We did some media together also to laugh through some of the things we put each other through many years ago. Most recently we had even been discussing him running my Late Model at Wilkesboro this summer. He seemed extremely happy and we had planned to meet up next Thursday to get his seat to the shop. He laughed over the idea of his fans and JRM fans having to cheer in unison during that race.
Kyle was one of the greatest drivers in NASCAR history. No one can deny that. But he was also a father, a husband, brother, son, and a friend to many. My heart is broken for the Busch family. I will never be able to make sense of this loss but I am thankful that we had found a way to become friends.

A 30 for 30 on the Rise and Fall of #Gamecocks Baseball would be a must watch… I never imagined in my lifetime that we’d witness a 🐔 Baseball team look worse than the Bad News Bears after the 2010-2012 run… We’ve squandered a decade of Baseball since the Kingston hire after the 2017 season… if we care to ever be relevant again, we must get serious about this next hire with a package that includes offering a Top 5 coaching salary + assistant pool, Top 5 #NIL $$ pool and promise for upgrades to Founders Park that brings it up to par with other top ballparks in the #SEC… will be interesting to see how invested we are in bringing the real Carolina Baseball back during this upcoming coaching search… #CB90 🤙🏼🐔💯

Haven’t posted on social in quite some time but can’t stay quiet in this time of loss. I’m struggling to tell all what Bobby Cox meant to me and so many others in Braves Country.
He was the leader of men and a second father to so many Atlanta Braves thru the yrs. I’m so sad today, but as I sit here watching my two youngest boys play in their championship games on the day he passed, I can’t help but shout the same things he did from the corner of the dugout. ‘Come on kid, u got this!’
We are gonna miss him so much, but his legacy is forever cemented with the success of this franchise for the last 35+ yrs. He started it as GM, continued as manager, and passing the torch to others, the Atlanta Braves will continue to be force that Bobby Cox always wanted us to be. We love you Skipper. You were our rock. I love you more than words can express.
My boys won both of their games…..Bobby had a hand, I have no doubt!

NEW: California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) LIED and said President Trump never called him. Trump contacted Fox News host John Roberts and provided the call logs proving he spoke with Newsom for 16 minutes on Saturday.
