Not a single of the ten @northernassist trains on time this week however both journeys on @CrossCountryUK and @LNER ran fine. Northern Rail are a complete shambles…

@SubwayHelpUKROI If you want some actual feedback I ordered a garlic and cheese Italian BMT. The guy who made it put so much incredibly bland garlic margarine on it that a month in the merrichef wouldn’t have melted it all. Each bite was raw margarine or so greasy the lettuce was transparent.

@_jameslt Gregor T, Warren G & Connor O’S would disagree; Russell, Biggar & Parisse all injured playing for foreign clubs this weekend, if you sign outside your home union you don’t get any of the mandated rest weekends etc. they pay a premium for a commodity they will run into the ground.

@JamesDaffern I don’t see Scottish players plying their trade abroad detrimenting the national team too much, only the clubs. Laidlaw and Russell becoming better players at Clermont and Racing, same will happen with Hogg at Exeter.

@_jameslt SRU shouldn’t have binned off the Border Reivers. The current Scottish pro set-up is stuck in a vicious circle; they’ll always lose players abroad but can’t only pick Scottish based players.

@JamesDaffern England have the biggest playing pool in world rugby, so that would be alarming. Compare that to poor Scotland - two pro teams and Watson, Wilson, Barclay, Hogg, Russell, Jones, Nel all out injures.

Gloucester’s backline was already quite something. Add in Joe Simpson, and that’s a quite excellent line-up behind the scrum.
