Reading an interesting case in NEJM. How often gi folks see lymphocytic esophagitis , and treat it with steroids? I must say I’ve never seen it.

Those who don’t attend staging workup will be unlikely to adhere to future hcc surveillance anyway.

Glad to see that genotyping is not mandated in these guidelines. Personally disagree that liver disease has to be staged prior to commencing treatment. Shouldn’t prevent patient engagement. Can be done in the future. @GregDore2 @stephentbarclay @ProfJohnDillon @JVLazarus

@AndrewBuckle15 Other issues we have found: 1. People with poor hearing - particularly elderly that sometimes rely on lip reading 2. Phone interpreters on conference call can be very difficult! 3. Need to confirm address hasn’t changed prior to sending out test requests.
