Pumped to deliver this one, to the same farm and good guys, I sold my first ever Apache to. And their third one since! Will perfectly match the other 1250 on the farm, with Deere, Capstan PP3, autoboom XRT. Looks like it just rolled out of the factory, not like it has sprayed 2 seasons!

@BBG1815 @mattygilbert It was 2000 acre day! Love the fuel efficiency and simplicity of the Apache! Light and reliable!

@mattygilbert Had a very nice green farm that spray with us go for a 2,000 acre weekend in their 2 Apaches and burn 150 gallons total between the 2 in this wet spring, spraying and roading. Was just curious how they would stack up! It all Beats a pull type in the end🤣

Grain farmer here. The equipment is all out of the shop and the floor is almost clean. 5 months until planting season. Do I just work on the boat? Sweep every day? I’ll hang up and listen.

@gavin_spoor Meridian 20-45 Price point was better then Brandt by quite a bit. Very comparable to our 13” take out auger. But much more handy. Pull behind our grain hoppers to the field. We had to make some more access holes to be able to clean it out better after fertilizer.

Is anyone using a 35’ Brandt grain belt for dry fertilizer? I don’t want two different conveyors for grain and fertilizer. If not Brandt, what other brands are out there? USC, Ray-Man?

@landon707 Pulled an 8t behind one unit and a 12t behind the other the past two falls 12t holds over 27000lbs of product

@MatthewCKrueger @JohnDeere We had trouble last year in wheat, did manual cal and it’s been with a couple percent for every crop since, just dove into beans and it’s within 140 lbs on an 18,000 lb load without touching anything. More then happy with it now

@BBG1815 @kahovecryan @BDuchek @AndrewJohnstad Two apaches. One new, one we bought with 1400 hrs and now has 2300, and have had only a couple hrs of down time between the two over many years. Parts have been to the farm day of or next day. And they always answer the phone.

There’s a first hand ran both machines comparison right there on a 1250 va a 412r Deere. This reason and cab comfort in our 2024 has gotten us on 3 farms that had green, and demo’d green side by side. We’ll deliver those machines in the coming months!

@Plantmore1 I would go with steering, we have the 1596 cart and you can definitely tell when you lock the axle even empty. The double axle is way better than a single axle 1300 bushel, takes all the hop out. Our 8rt handles it just fine.

On these large carts with tandem axles, can anyone comment if steering is a must have ?

Let’s get a little feedback today: Deere planters- give me your favorite things about them along with some things you’d like to see changed. I’d personally like a slide in the CCS tank above the manifold to make cleaning an obstruction out possible without dumping the tank.

@JamesJohnstad @JohnDeere Not yet, but you can create multiple work plans per field with different crops.
