It’s really incredible she turned the backlash to her deeply inappropriate and unprofessional tweet about saving a man who raped and killed a 93 year old woman from the death penalty as somehow sexism against HER like just truly incredible. If she was trolling it’d be a 10/10 no notes situation but this person actually believes they were the victim in this thing they completely instigated 😂

@JamesKWoke @hexprax the state executioner kills people for a living. he is evil almost by definition. and yeah the rapist/murderer is a person, that's just a fact about the world. he should be in prison for a very long time but he's still a person and killing people is wrong.

@hexprax I'm not pro death penalty but I find you describing the state executioner as a "sociopathic yokel" while characterizing the guy who raped and murdered a near centenarian just a "guy" is intellectually dishonest at best

@hexprax @LonesomeWest I think it's less virtue signalling that he's bad and moreso how you're consciously framing this case as the instrument of the state being evil and the client being a neutral character at worst. In fact I'd say calling him a "guy" virtue signals in another direction.

@hexprax @LonesomeWest Do people stop their sociopathic tendencies when they're imprisoned? I think describing him as a "guy" makes you seem callous to his victims rather than a principled stand. There's gravity to these cases that should be understood regardless of your opinion on capital punishment.
