When in NYC, don't miss Le Rivage at 340 W. 46th. Far far more than a pre-theatre place, it's a haven of outstanding traditional French cooking. Have the ratatouille, the butterflied branzino, the grand mere, the prpfitetoles. Soak up the ambience. Really great place.

I get positively giddy when I hear people (mostly actors in old films/shows) put the emphasis on syllables at the end of words that we now usually put at the beginning.

Saw Proof with Ayo Edebiri, Don Cheadle, Kara Young, Jin Ha. Star performance from Edebiri. Cheadle a bit too sane (plus maybe still figuring out how to deal with Robert Townsend). Kara Young disappointing, Jin Ha great.
