@thetrainline Actually, we checked at Manchester station on Thursday 4 Dec to be told the service was running on the Saturday. Not "last minute" at all. We waited for the confirmation email from Trainline. In vain.

@JamesMurphy767 As my colleague mentioned, we aim to notify passengers if there's changes to your journey. However, there's not always time to do this if a last minute reinstation has been made, as we rely on the confirmation from the operator prior to sending our emails/alerts. Thanks, - Jess

@thetrainline Let me repeat. I got an email from Trainline telling me that the Saturday train from Manchester was not running. This proved not to be the case. I had emailed back for clarification (given that I had already booked). No reply. Are you happy with this service?
