The fact that your first instinct after reading about a woman being beaten, thrown out of her own home and having a nervous breakdown is to mock her politics rather than feel any human empathy says everything about you and nothing about her. You don't actually care what happened to her. You just needed a body to make your point with. That's not commentary. That's exploitation.

Lopputuloksena naisystävää puukotettiin kasvoihin, ja ystäväni sai osumaa kasvojen alueelle. Nainen myös ryöstettiin tilanteessa: laukusta varastettiin kamera, matkalaturi ja hajuvesi. Poliisiauton saapuminen paikalle lopulta de-eskaloi tilanteen, ja porukka poistui juosten paikalta. Ystäväni ja hänen naisystävänsä kuljetettiin molemmat sairaalan päivystykseen. Ystäväni soitti minulle yöllä hädissään ja kysyi, miksi joku tekee noin. En osannut vastata. Paljon on ainakin vasemmalta pyydetty tuomitsemaan naisiin kohdistuva väkivalta. Tuomitseeko vasemmisto myös tämän?
