On May 19, 2026, The Clay County Sheriff’s Office and Clay County District
Schools received a report that a juvenile student at Ridgeview High School had received inappropriate social media messages from a teacher at the school. The teacher was immediately placed on administrative leave while CCSO Detectives began looking into the circumstances surrounding the report.
The investigation revealed that 48-year-old Christopher Suarez began communicating with the student using a social media platform earlier this year. In the days leading up to the report, Suarez sent sexually explicit photographs and messages to the student. On May 29, 2026, Suarez was arrested on six counts of transmission of harmful materials to a minor (FSS 847.38(2)) and one count of use of a two-way communication device to commit a felony (FSS 934.215). He is being held in the Clay County Jail on a total bond amount of $525,021.00.
Although Suarez was arrested in connection with this incident, this remains an active
investigation. Anyone with information that might be of assistance in this case is encouraged to contact Detective Andrew Carter at (904) 264-6512 or acarter@claysheriff.com.

ALERT: Man arrested after putting his Cybertruck in ‘Wade Mode’ and accidentally sinking it in a lake in Grapevine, Texas.
Officers responded to a call about a Cybertruck sunken off of Katie's Woods Park Boat Ramp at around 8 PM.
Authorities say the driver put his Tesla in ‘Wade Mode’ and shortly after driving into the lake, the car shut down and began taking on water.
All passengers in the vehicle were rescued, and the driver, who remains in jail, was charged with operation of a vehicle in a closed section of park/lake, no valid boat registration, and numerous water safety equipment violations.

This song - and now video, means more to me than most will ever know. There was no way to include everyone I love who has been so important in my life, so apologies in advance if anyone feels left out - just know I love you all and dearly miss all of you who are no longer with us. God Is Good. ✝️

@micheleari @mhp_guy I hate to even cross the St Johns River up here in N Fla nowadays🤣

This guy makes six figures driving people across a bridge they're too scared to drive over themselves.
He charges $40 cash. 10 to 30 clients a day. Some have been paying him daily for years.
He meets them at a truck weigh station, hops in their car, drives them across in four minutes, and gets driven back by his assistant to do it again.
The alternative route takes four hours through Baltimore.
Here's what's wild... and possibly a little concerning:
He said Airline pilots have used his service.
His wife even makes custom eye masks that say "I hate this bridge."
Steven Eskew has been running this business for years and has made tens of thousands of trips. I'll let you do that math.
There's a business for everything. I promise you.
