Very pleased to have been re-elected in Junction Ward with Sheila and Ben and proud that Islington remained a Labour borough 🌹 But I feel sad for the councillors in Islington, London and the whole country who lost their seats. We lost a lot of good community champions yesterday

Thank you to everyone who voted for Islington Labour yesterday. We retained control of the council. Testament to the hard work of our councillors and members. But deeply disappointing to have lost 3 seats to the Greens in Islington South & 13 more in the north.

CAMRA North London welcome The Mother Red Cap in Archway reopening Mid May and hope that Star pubs have undertaken a sensitive restoration of the locally listed building. The pub has beautiful tiling and mirrors and is one of the last Irish pubs on the Holloway Road. 1/2
