Europe imported the 3rd world migrants thinking they would become productive workers and extend the pension system and generous benefits for the aging Europeans. Instead the migrants went on welfare and burn down cities after soccer matches.

I shorted $HYPE thinking it was another $ASTER. Now I'm staring at a loss so big I can barely look at the screen. My ego convinced me I was smarter than the market. Turns out the market doesn't care. One trade has me questioning everything right now. This is the side of crypto nobody posts about. Just pure panic and the sick feeling that you might have completely fucked yourself. I genuinely don't know what to do. $HYPE keeps ripping and I'm trapped.

I once thought that my obsession with Bitcoin was my most autistic trait. But now that I'm using data and AI compute to better understand the emotions/moods of humans I realize I may have transcended into a higher level of autism then I'd previously thought possible.

We are going to deflate the cost of the following things on a like-for-like basis over the next seven years by roughly 90%: Healthcare Education Housing Transportation Sex If we still have socialism at the end of this something has gone horribly wrong.

@theswansjr Its not "backed" by energy... like come on... As if you could exchange BTC for energy lol. Backed by energy would imply I could burn 1BTC and get say 1TW of energy. The energy that gets used to produce and secure it is gone.

Normie Logic: Bitcoin is backed by nothing. Reality: Bitcoin is backed by energy expenditure, a fixed issuance schedule that's never been amended, and more raw computing power than anything humanity has ever built. The dollar is backed by confidence in the same institution sitting on $39 trillion in debt and accelerating. Bitcoin is the future of money. Follow if you're serious about building wealth they can't print away.

@SolveMaxwell @eli_schein Would BNB only have like 20% of its tokens unlocked and the rest locked for incentives or else, how would you argue?

@SolveMaxwell @eli_schein On one hand you compare HYPE with only its circulating MC and on the other hand you use BNB that has already fully unlocked all its tokens. That is apples VS oranges

@Jackkk I like HYPE but this is a wrong take. All those tokens will eventual flood the market, one way or the other. Hopefully airdrops. Look at literally any other project in the past with unlucks, entually they put tokens into circ. Bullish on HYPE but it is indeed at a way higher MC

DeFi Monk explains why Hyperliquid shouldn’t be valued using FDV “Right now we think it should probably be somewhere in between, if not closer to circulating” “That’s a massive shift in the story if all of a sudden Hyperliquid is not worth like $60B. I’ve had a background in equities before and there is no such thing as an FDV for the average stock” “No one ever sits down and goes what is the maximum amount of shares Nvidia could ever issue over the entire history of the stock. I think now that we’re introducing HYPE to this more traditional investor, we kind of need to speak on their terms” “The reality is the 40% or so of supply allocated for future incentives, I just don’t think that makes sense to be including in any sort of real market cap discussion” “One, we have no idea when and if that supply will ever come online and two, if it does, I think there’s a real chance Jeff and the team decide to use it in an accretive way where let’s say a dollar worth of HYPE incentives generates a dollar or more of HYPE buybacks” “So what is inflation really? It’s probably just staking rewards and team unlocks. That’s basically what investors should be focusing on”

@jamesjasmy @over21m @PiusSprenger This is probably what will happen at some point. Might be years down the line but eventually it can happen. Wont kill BTC but it will be the worst bear we have ever seen.

Bitcoin’s Real Risk Isn’t What Most People Think It’s not the usual talking points. The real issue is extreme concentration: a tiny number of entities controlling a massive share of the supply. One misstep from a single large holder can trigger unintended consequences that cascade through the entire market. Picture this (purely hypothetical):Michael Saylor sells a relatively small amount of BTC. At the exact same moment, a miner decides to dump some coins. The market instantly panics and interprets it as the start of a massive sell-off. ETFs begin dumping in volume. Price drops sharply → Saylor sells more to protect his position → the spiral accelerates. The fewer holders there are, the more concentrated the supply becomes… and the less stable the asset is. That’s not opinion — it’s basic math. Spreading the risk beats concentrating it. When holdings are small and widely distributed, thousands of people make independent decisions at different times. That natural diversity acts as a shock absorber. When supply sits in just a handful of hands, one wrong move can shake the whole system. Wide footprint = real resilience. Concentration = hidden fragility.

$STRC isn’t just a liability for Strategy—it’s increasingly becoming a liability for Bitcoin as well. I don’t understand why this isn’t obvious to more people.

I took this picture when I landed in Spain on Monday. This is human behaviour Both escalators were going up… yet everyone used the one of the right… This is why Elliott Wave Theory works… It’s human behaviour… and it’ll never change.

Truly hilarious that the "never sell your Bitcoin" guy has not only begun pivoting to selling, but it appears he's doing so below the company's cost basis.
