Since their promotion back to the English top flight under Bill Shankly in 1962, Liverpool have never finished outside the top 8 in the First Division or Premier League that's 63 consecutive seasons (and counting as of 2025/26) of top-eight finishes.
They've hit exactly 8th place just four times (1962/63, 1993/94, 2011/12, and 2015/16), won the league title 15 times in that span (now up to 20 overall), and remain the only English club to avoid dropping out of the top half of the table for over six decades.

The Bill as drafted does not adequately apply to the security and intelligence services to deal with cover-ups such as Manchester Arena.
The duty of candour must apply consistently to ALL public authorities, including those operating within the national security sphere.
