Someone called me a “PR guy” on Reddit today, so I’ve got that going for me.

@DaveGorman wrote you a note via your website form, it says there's no valid address attached, so it fails. Would write with an SAE, that's tricky from the USA, but will look into it. Thought you'd at least want to know your contact form is broken.

@shanselman genuine question; how much discernable variance is there between the post-mix version, canned and 2l ? Assuming the post mixer is optimally configured.

One of the tiny tragedies of being a Diet Coke connoisseur - and I mean at the soda sommelier level - is that people act like you’re insane when you tell them that the mix is off on their fountain drinks. I’m right.

@unity @CactusVRStudios moreover, how does this effect QA installs? serverside runtime installs? per my last comment, if a troll just reinstalls on a rolling VM with a new signature, does your system count each one as a new install? if so, i can see that being weaponized quite quickly.

@unity @CactusVRStudios and how do you differentiate between a new install, and the same user installing on a new PC/Console, but with the same account? Same purchase, multiple installs. Do you have prevention from fraudulent trolling through rapid reinstallation?

Today we announced a change to our business model which includes new additions to our subscription plans, and the introduction of a Runtime fee. We wanted to provide clarifying answers to the top questions most of you are asking. Yes, this is a price increase and it will only affect a small subset of current Unity Editor users. Today, a large majority of Unity Editor users are currently not paying anything and will not be affected by this change. The Unity Runtime fee will not impact the majority of our developers. The developers who will be impacted are generally those who have successful games and are generating revenue way above the thresholds we outlined in our blog. This means that developers who are still building their business and growing the audience of their games will not pay a fee. The program was designed specifically this way to ensure developers could find success before the install fee takes effect. We want to be clear that the counter for Unity Runtime fee installs starts on January 1, 2024 - it is not retroactive or perpetual. We will charge once for a new install; not an ongoing perpetual license royalty, like revenue share. We looked for ways to lessen the impact on developers, and provide ways to bring the Runtime fee to zero. If you’re using any of our ad products, Unity Gaming Services or cloud services, etc. please contact us to discuss discounts. We are actively listening to and following your questions closely. Please review our FAQ (on.unity.com/3PAiqHH) on today’s announcement. We also invite you to continue to discuss these changes with us on our forums: on.unity.com/3RmyLRx.

@noopkat As others have said, DM/Text/Whatever works, if there's anything I can do. Including listen silently.

I can confirm these changes are what @Wizards digital game VP Chris Cao has planned for the future of D&D The $30pm is for the highest tier, and includes monthly content drops Their dream is everyone paying $30pm to play Hos is correct on everything, confirmed by WotC sources
Hos - Dungeon Scribe 🔜 Home til PAXU@DungeonScribe

If @Wizards tried to squeeze more money from you with these @DnD_Beyond changes, how would you feel? - $30/month per player - Deauthorized OGL 1.0a - Homebrew banned at Base Tiers - Stripped down gameplay for AI-DMs Reportedly #DnDBegone cost WotC 40,000+ subs. Keep it going.

@JamesTrott Thank you — we’re looking into this! 👀 seems to affect a small subset of iOS users — could you try logging out and logging back in as well?

Read this article. We're all just "Overreacting" and will get over it and go back to being good little cash cows soon. Thanks @Wizards_DnD @Wizards and @Hasbro I really feel like you want what's best for the community, and not your pockets. Oh wait, reverse that. #OpenRPG

I was able to speak to former and current WotC employees for this latest piece, and the situation inside the Seattle stronghold is dire. Here's a report on some of what happened in between the OGL 1.1 leak on Jan 5 and the apology yesterday. gizmodo.com/dungeons-drago…

This is SUPER important. A document sent out with an accompany contract that legally binds a creator, and their business, to it, is NOT a draft. It's not an idea. It's the plan. #OpenRPG @Wizards_DnD @Hasbro
DnD_Shorts@DnD_Shorts

Working with lawyers to confirm what screenshots I can share from @Wizards leaked response. Here's a fun one. WotC lie and label the D&D OGL as a "draft", despite it being sent out to creators with a contract to sign Sneak level: 3/10 Integreity: 0/10 #OpenDnD #StopTheSub
