Spanking your kids is teaching them to resolve their emotional conflicts with violence. You’re not parenting them, you’re teaching them the same traumas your parents put on you. It’s time to evolve and teach kids to deal with their emotions in a meaningful and positive way.

Umm yes it does, young men, teens, or even boys will push the boundary. It's natural they want to prove themselves, they want to see where they fit in the hierarchy, they are still learning to control their emotions and strength. And all those things require some sort of physical barrier to push against. If they do not hit that barrier they will keep pushing. If they push and your response is "let's hold hands and sing about our feelings" they will happily that take punishment aslong as they can keep pushing that boundary whenever they want.

Spanking your kids should only need to be done once or twice if done right. If they then understand it is a consequence of their bad actions they should behave and stay out of trouble. Both of my older kids I have only ever had to spank once. My youngest is still too young to understand so she won't get the spanking for awhile. But she is such an angle I might not have to do it.
