Later this year @NHSDDICB , @Derbyshirecc & @DerbyCC will be releasing its refreshed Market Position Statement for Care & Accommodation for #autistic people & people with a #learningdisability who have co-occurring health, social care &/or forensic needs.

If the law says that these sentences are suitable for the digusting & the inhumane things these people did then the law has to change.

(1/3) Just caught up with my Head of Service equivalent for CYP & #SEND.
They chaired a #CETR yesterday. #Autistic child < 12 years old with #ADHD & a #learningdisability. Child loves school & music.

@Beth_Tastic It can be really frustrating being a strategic commissioner, our ability to improve care & support on a case by case basis is limited.
However, even small things like signposting can make a difference. So my commitment is to learn from this experience & do it better next time.

@Beth_Tastic re: co-production & our commitment to it, I am proud of how meeting local people (including parents) 1:1 or in bigger forums has helped shape our thinking & design of services like CYP Keyworking, ND Community Hubs & our work alongside schools.
