@castielandanna @katedanielleeee @emzorbit I've been to the US many times and I don't recall being asked that, but it might be because TSA asks a lot of strange questions. Business meetings aren't considered work? I'd be quite pissed if I got sent to another country and wasn't getting paid...

Customs officials in the US as well as Canada (and others) are always asking if you plan to work. They want to make sure you have the proper work permits, etc.. They also want to make sure you are not displacing native workers. I traveled to Canada often for business meetings and literally had to tell them. “ I swear I’m only going there for business meetings and intend to do absolutely no work whatsoever.”

You can give someone a tattoo and go home the same day. Tattooing isn't highly regulated, you can buy a tattoo gun on amazon.

@emzorbit She is a tattoo artist and was caught with tattooing equipment, meaning she was working in the US which she is not allowed to do. She was also admitted into solitary confinement because she went on a violent rampage, screaming and punching walls until she had bloody fists.
