@OnkarGaonkar2 @FQuattro4 @ArtetaEra It's an achievement for them. And yes because other teams like utd had dominated for years. But it's not the same as being promoted and winning the league the same year. That's a far more special achievement. Forest went either further and won the European cup the season after

@MoayyedSalah @FQuattro4 @ArtetaEra Where does it say premier league. And football existed before 1992. And when forest did it, it was at the end of the 70's. They even got promoted, won the league then won the European twice in a row. Now that's an achievement.

@OnkarGaonkar2 @FQuattro4 @ArtetaEra Still an achievement. But far to many people don't consider anything before 1992 relevent. Still count the trophies though, so should count all the other achievements to.

@StretfordTalks @CFC_Ferg @ArtetaEra And as far as biggest achievement that goes to forest, promoted, won the league the next season, season after won the European cup. The won it the season after. That's one hell of an ache

@StretfordTalks @CFC_Ferg @ArtetaEra Might be of the premier league era. But football's been going along time. I'm assuming as a utd fan you count all the trophies you won before the premier league was created.

@OnkarGaonkar2 @FQuattro4 @ArtetaEra What the logic that football existed before 1992. And yeah Preston first team to be the invincible's. Didn't even concede a single goal in the fa cup that season..

@ArtetaEra Nothing. Liverpool, Everton, spurs, Ipswich and forest. All promoted and won the league the next season.

@FQuattro4 @ArtetaEra No, teams have been promoted from the second division before and gone on to win the league the next season. Liverpool, Everton, spurs, Ipswich and forest have all done it. Leicester ain't special.

@ArtetaEra They were in the rellegation zone until match 30 of the 2014/15 season and won the next league. Also shortest time to win a league title after promotion?

@IanJon407 @Anon_X_Tweets @Beetrespecter @riversorare More than you think. If the wages are decent. Where iv moved to, it's pretty much all British at the chippies. Most of the takeaways are British even the drivers (lady who dropped my pizza off last week was British). Local Macdonald's/KFC/dominos are british.

@IanJon407 @Anon_X_Tweets @Beetrespecter @riversorare You can if you live 10 to a house. Don't pay tax. And are prepared to work for very little to send home. Alot of takeaways employ people on the black market side of things. Then have them live above the shop. It's incredibly common.

@IanJon407 @Anon_X_Tweets @Beetrespecter @riversorare 2/2 ai on the way and robotics. We may not need as many workers going forward. So by increasing the population continually may be a very bad thing. But those robots and ai could save us from the population bomb were going through.

@IanJon407 @Anon_X_Tweets @Beetrespecter @riversorare 1/2 They reckon there's about 700/800k people in London alone that are overstayers. Across the UK no one really knows as visa holders aren't counted in and out. And these people undercut wages. Yes it going to get worse. But you can innovate in order to help with that. With..

@IanJon407 @Anon_X_Tweets @Beetrespecter @riversorare Not particularly. And 200k skilled workers leaving is a very bad thing. We need those workers. And yes students leave. But not all of them when they should. Quite a decent percentage overstay and enter the black economy, don't pay tax and undercut British workers.

@Jamesfoxley2 @Anon_X_Tweets @Beetrespecter @riversorare it’s a bit of an exaggeration on that point i guess you are primarily talking about australia and dubai and such (about 200k) lots of migrants have left generally. 1/4 mil pakistani, indian, nigeria + lots of that number is the bumper post covid wave of students leaving too.

@IanJon407 @Anon_X_Tweets @Beetrespecter @riversorare And the economy isn't. It may go up each year slightly. But by the time you factor in inflation and population increases. We're actually getting poorer. We need to control migration better. That way we only bring in the best and brightest. They'd help the economy grow.

@Jamesfoxley2 @Anon_X_Tweets @Beetrespecter @riversorare i know that was my point. i know a lot of people in trades. some are my customers. to be honest i think it’s great that trad working class jobs pull decent cash that demand can fall off though very quickly if we don’t have a growing economy

@IanJon407 @Anon_X_Tweets @Beetrespecter @riversorare Net has dropped. But that's because more people have started to leave. 900k still came in last year. 700k left. Alot of those who left had skills and qualifications that meant they could get more money elsewhere.

@Jamesfoxley2 @Anon_X_Tweets @Beetrespecter @riversorare don’t disagree with that. but isn’t that what labour is doing. we’ve seen massive drops in immigration. so sharp that it actually might be worrying because it must include loss of international student flows that are worth loads to the economy
