James Meteyard@jamesmeteyard
An electric atmosphere at the #SurroundParliment human chain protesting the UK government’s decision to extradite #JulianAssange to the US, where he faces a potential sentence of 175 years for exposing WAR CRIMES. It’s undemocratic & aims to deter journalists from seeking truth.

@UKYouth @PrincesTrust @CadburyUK Thanks for your reply. While you might be sharing a campaign aimed at giving young people ‘hope’. In reality, you are promoting a PR exercise by @CadburyUK, a company that exploits young people around the world. I would advise more due diligence on campaigns you are sharing.

The Guardian is IMO the most pernicious paper in the UK. Liberal/'progressives' know how terrible the right-wing media is, but think the Guardian largely tells the truth. They are utterly captured by it and its cultural power is a key establishment asset.

Watching the shameful behaviour of the Russian army in Ukraine has given me cause to reflect on how proud I am of the incredible standard set by the men and women of our armed services. Thank-you @thenotforgotten for organising today.

🧵Just had the most amazing 3 hours with @thenotforgotten charity, which helps ex-services personnel rebuild.

@MahuiChina Yeah the Pacific is basically NATO’s backyard pond and Indian Ocean is basically NATO’s front yard pond. Hope this helps

@Lowkey0nline His Helmand province camp bastion exclusive was a good example of whitewashing that war m.youtube.com/watch?v=r_6VPz…

@JonJonesSnr Get a grip or do you want nuclear war? You seen to have been whipped up into a war frenzy since this Ukraine conflict began. With a lot of bad takes IMO

@peterjukes @andmiaken @SonjaConscious @CraigMurrayOrg @BylineTimes If you gave Yemen even 10mins of the equivalent air time Ukraine has got Mayby more that 47 percent of the British public would know about that war their.
English

@andmiaken @SonjaConscious @CraigMurrayOrg We publish regularly on @BylineTimes about the atrocious acts of Saudia Arabia and Israel (including ex intelligence officers). At least we're consistent, unlike some

Absolutely. Hounded and bullied for years….and she was right all along. Proper journalist and hero.

If it were up to me - which, oddly, it weren’t - I would put @carolecadwalla on the next £20 note.
English

@GaryLineker hoping that she wins the bullying and ridiculous case Aaron Banks brought against her, trying to ruin her career and life. Hopefully the judge can see now how clearly her work was in the public interest!

@RobinDeVoh @StephenFenton88 @johnsweeneyroar @wanderer1982 Nice analogy. However, before the fire is put out you still need to know what type of fire it is. If it’s electrical you wouldn’t throw loads of water on it. That’s why we need to look into how this issue came about rather than just the now. The West seem unable 2look in a mirror

@jdpeterson1689 Actually since 2018 UN figures show majority (over 80 percent) of civilian casualties came from the rebel held region. Would be interested to see where you got the figure of 2000 civilians killed in 9 days?
