@JamieALeary @iowastatepatrol My car did a 360 in front of a semi then wiped back over into my own lane. I actually said out loud, welp this is how I’m gonna die. No clue how my car got back to its own lane. Guardian angel maybe, because it definitely wasn’t me.

@JamieALeary We might have been right behind you. Saw one car squeak past the jackknifed semi to the right but we had to go left. We got stopped in time to avoid it, but unfortunately we had nowhere to go and everything slammed into us from behind.

The cold front that plowed through the central U.S. is comparable to the most intense “blue northers” in history — like the November 11, 1911 one. Springfield, Mo. went from 80° to 40° in 10 minutes, hit 13°, and set a record high/low in same day.

My dad, @ricksallinger, passed away peacefully last night He was the best father I could ask for. I loved adventuring around the world and seeing new places together Working alongside him as competitors in Denver news was special everyday. I will miss it so much Love you ❤️

Arvada Police Officers responded to the Village West Apartments, 12155 W. 58th Place, at 12:16 am on a call for service and discovered a fire on a first-floor apartment in the east building.

Denver Schools superintendent reduces the recommendation on closing schools again. First it was 10, then scaled back to 5. Tonight at Board meeting, it’s down to 2: Math Science Leadership Academy and Denver Discovery School. A vote being discussed now. @CBSNewsColorado

Jeffco had its largest number of Election Day voters in mail ballot history - approx. 92k. Our previous high was 73k in 2018. As a result, we have approx. 40k ballots left to count, and will resume Wednesday. Partial results with 86% counted available at VoteJeffco.com
