Couldn’t agree more - the event itself is amazing but as a tennis fan, it has become too big and unfortunately the tennis is secondary .. more a tennis theme park nowadays

Overcrowding is a serious issue if you are attending this Australian Open as a tennis fan who wants to watch tennis. Long, unmoving queues to get into so many courts, even ones without star players of any note. (Waited 15 minutes for Tien-Shevchenko and gave up).

Miami Open quickly becoming the land of opportunity on the men’s side. Seeds falling by the waste side almost every match. Shows that the quality on the men’s side really isn’t what it used to be. So many irregular results. And it’s not because the field is deeper. Yes, everyone can play and play well. However, all these top 20 players shouldn’t be losing in rd 1 and 2. Not good for the event. You need the stars to shine.
