I think that if Burnham wasn't running, Reform may have won makerfield. Obviously I don't know for sure but it is obvious from many polls that Burnham has really boosted Labours popularity (for now). So we can say for sure that makerfield would have at least been a lot closer if not a Reform victory.

Total REGISTERED voters in Manchester Mayorals: 2,142,779 Estimated UNREGISTERED voters: 350,000 So roughly 2,600,000 people COULD vote. @reformparty_uk got 4.3% of all POSSIBLE voters @RestoreBritain 1.78% @Conservatives 1.58% That is the stark reality. How do you get people to vote? How do you get people to vote right? You cannot do it running around with leaflets - they don't work and you do not have enough free man-power. A lot more blue sky thinking needs to go into the problem and it isn't happening with any of these parties.

Do not feel sorry for them. The top 1% of earners pay that income tax, but 'millionaires' hold their money in assets and capital, and live day to day off debt which isnt taxed. Using income tax stats to defend the asset-owning class is a deliberate distraction.
