Meanwhile it’s the women who prepared all this food, remained confined behind four walls under a tent (burqa) and expected to keep popping out babies as if they were machines, only to get murdered in the name of honour. Rich tribal culture in 2026.👌

Pashtuns are known for their hospitality, rich culture, and strong traditions. Yet, they are often portrayed by the media as extremists. Instead of focusing on negative generalizations, look at their generosity, warmth, and the respect they show to guests ♥️

There are some utterly fascinating, almost forgotten threads that link Punjab with Hitler and Nazi Germany. Since most able-bodied young men from my "martial race" belt of Punjab's Potohar served in WWII, references to Hitler still linger in our vernacular till date. Even today, when we want to describe someone as "tough", we call them "German". It's fascinating to hear simple old villagers, who don't even know the country of Germany, proclaim "Oh kedda German ae" - "how German he is!" - simply because their WWII-veteran fathers defined toughness with the word "German". Additionally, there are a plethora of oral tales of Punjabi mother equating their young sons' brashness in awe with Hitler's renowned ferocity. Moreover, one of Goebbels's vital propagandists was Haider Khan from District Rawalpindi, who oversaw Nazi propaganda for the entirety of pre-partitioned Punjab, NWFP, Delhi, and Balochistan. Furthermore, quite a few Punjabis - including Habib ur Rehman, Shubhas Bose's Chief of Staff who later led Pakistan Army's guerrilla planning for the 1948 Kashmir War and founded "GHQ Gujrat" - fought under the Axis alignment for Bose's Free India Legion.

Can't stop thinking about the fact that there's a Pakistani Panjabi movie from 1986 where Hitler survives WW2, runs off to Panjab, settles down with a local wife and raises a son named Hitlar who grows up to be a gangster in rural Panjab.

We Indian Punjabis have been watching the "Punjabi Heroes vs. Pashtun Heroes" debate on Pakistani Twitter and we have been mostly quiet about it until some Pashtuns began trying to convince us, Punjabis from India, that Baba Bulleh Shah was anti-Sikh. Seriously Pashtun Brothers? Do you think we have never read Baba Bulleh Shah's Kalam? Do you really think Indian Punjabis will fall for this propaganda? We stand with our Punjabi brothers and sisters in Pakistan in recognizing that Baba Bulleh Shah, Maharaja Ranjit Singh, Abdullah Khan Bhatti, Rai Ahmad Khan Kharal, Sardar Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev Thapar, Sir Ganga Ram are the collective heroes of Punjab. Their legacy belongs to all Punjabis, regardless of religion or nationality.

60% of Punjabi Muslims aren't Jats, more like 1/5th. Jats rn't considered Shudra, maybe in ur country India they r. The original Jats never even followed Brahmanical Hinduism & the varna system & looked at Brahmins with contempt. Muslim Jats used to keep Brahmins to perform tasks
