@Jarrapin Maybe you don’t understand why electricity is about 25% more expensive in SA than the other states ? Or perhaps you are related to the Burnhard Keane Sewer Rat ?

So the argument against One Nation is ... Gina Rinehart provides an extremely small amount of financial support. And only recently. But it's totally fine for: The Teals to be bankrolled by renewable energy billionaires where policy is changed to benefit their business structure. Labor to be in bed with trillion-dollar union funds which structurally and financially support the Labor Party where millions of Australians are forced by law to be part of the machine if they want to work in certain industries. And where unions benefit directly from billion-dollar public works projects. The Liberals to be funded by various developer and investor billionaires with friends all through the most powerful domestic media empire. And the Greens - to have a stranglehold on billions of dollars in public money going to their environmental, social, and racial causes which feed back around into the education system - radicalising children into a voting machine.

I, and others, have argued this for over 20 years. Finally and possibly too late a Liberal elder comes to the same conclusion.

And this…. BREAKING: The South Australian Premier secretly filmed and recorded a colleague Annabel Digance. Her husband responded by threatening to release damaging information about Malinauskas. Malinauskas then reported Digance to police for blackmail, which led to Malinauskas secretly wearing a wire for police (recording her without her knowledge twice!) - and ultimately the arrest and public humiliation of Annabel Digance. This matter completely silenced her Then Malinauskas got the police to delay the court case until the election, where he became Premier. Here’s the background…. Former MP Annabel Digance made claims of bullying, sexism, and racism by senior Labor figures, including Malinauskas and Don Farrell. She claimed they sidelined her career Her husband threatened to go public with “damaging stories” about Malinauskas’ past and reputation In February 13, 2020, Malinauskas set up a restaurant meeting (which he secretly recorded on his phone), and Greg Digance warned of public exposure of Malinauskas’ past, unless Annabel Digance got her “political career back” Malinauskas later reported this to SA Police as blackmail on March 16, 2020 Malinauskas then became “Undercover Operative 4394” and wore a hidden digital recorder, or wire, under his suit. On March 27, 2020, he met the Annabel and Greg Digances at Labor Party headquarters in Adelaide where police also secretly installed a camera. Malinauskas confronted them, demanded they state their demands, then revealed he had reported them for blackmail Malinauskas forgot to turn off the wire he was wearing and while still recording, he immediately called his wife to say he had been unable to “extract incriminating statements” about Annabel Digance according to Court testimony Even so, charges were laid against the Digances in 2021 and they were arrested Malinauskas then asked police to delay any prosecution until after the 2022 SA State election which Labor won, making him Premier. Charges were later withdrawn in 2023 with no conviction against the Digances Annabel Digance then sued Malinauskas and the South Australian government for $2.3 million in the Supreme Court for malicious prosecution, wrongful arrest, false imprisonment, and misfeasance in public office. Her barrister argued Malinauskas abused his position and police resources for personal and political gain This story is barely known, virtually uncovered by the media, and this weekend everyone is expecting Malinauskas and Labor to win the South Australian election in a landslide

@RoadknightThe Yeah it was minuscule in comparison to what they get in Victoria, just a stipend for travel and accommodation. Why Malinauskus claims it as a success is beyond me.

Even the Aboriginal people of SA didn't want their State Voice to Parliament. Only 8% of those eligible to vote could be bothered to. Moreover, many board members resigned in the first month when they found out they weren't on salaries, just travel and accommodation plus meeting attendance fees. Now have a look at what they earn in Victoria.

Christopher Hitchens: ”In 1786, when the United States was barely a country, it was having its sailors taken as slaves by the Barbary states, the states of the Ottoman Empire and North Africa. Tripoli, shores of Tripoli. Ships stopped, its crews carried off into slavery. We estimate 1.5 million European and American slaves taken between 1750 and 1815. Jefferson and Adams went to their ambassador in London and said, why do you do this to us? The United States has never had a quarrel with the Muslim world of any kind. We weren't in the crusades. We weren't at war with Spain. Why do you do this to our people and our ships? Why do you plunder and enslave our people? The ambassador said very plainly, Mr. Abdul Rahman said, because the Quran gives us permission to do so, because you are infidels, and that's our answer. Jefferson said, well, in that case, I will send a navy which will crush your state, which he did. Islamic fundamentalism is not created by American democracy. It's a lie to say so. It's a masochistic lie, and it excuses those who are the real criminals, and blames us for the attacks made upon us.”

The ivory tower class can’t understand why people vote One Nation, because they’re insulated from the problems everyday Australians face. Maybe if Jane’s standard of living collapsed, she’d find some sympathy for the “peasants.”
