We’ve been blown away by the innovation and adoption of ERC404 so far and it’s only been 7 days since the launch of Pandora 🤯 Today, we’re excited to announce that we’ve made major improvements to the standard which we are open sourcing and releasing for public review. These changes will feature improved support for external protocols and enable new use-cases, including novel infrastructure that we are building in-house.
 A few major improvements include: - Codified design and implementation of ERC404 to move closer to standardization - Pooling to support persistent token IDs - Improved branching logic to reduce gas for certain common transfer cases - Improved integration functionality and emissions for external protocols - EIP-2612 support for token permits Note that this revised code will require a separate audit and should not be used in production yet, though we have auditors standing by ready to begin once we’ve received input from the community. We will be opening up the GitHub repo within the next few hours and are inviting all developers excited by this new standard to review and contribute. We want this to be an open, transparent, and collaborative process. In particular, we invite @0xCygaar, @PopPunkOnChain, @optimizoor, @0xjustadev, @0xQuit, and @AmadiMichaels to contribute their expertise in creating an optimal standard for everyone and improving this nascent ecosystem. We hope to create a roundtable for discussions around ERC404, much like how the Ethereum, Bitcoin, and ZK ecosystems have done for discussing innovations within their ecosystems. We believe collaboration is the most effective path to achieving consensus for a new standard, and we hope that this invitation will unite anyone interested in this innovation to work together for the betterment of the entire space. As the creators of the ERC404 standard, we hope to continue pushing forward the ecosystem and have many more efforts planned to engage the community and build in a collaborative and open manner.
