@MEvsIRS Just read the original post. Not bad, some witty replies. I think bringing economic points to a cultural debate is insufficient. Not to be a "hater": Is there anything you can imagine that would change your mind? Are there any points from the other side you agree with?

That is easily defeated and not really an adage H1bs are for highly skilled high paying jobs These are not random minimum wage assembly line workers To earn a high paying job one must demonstrate responsibility and ability Via the same hiring practices everyone else must go through If anything we are importing “the 3rd world” to keep innovation and growth in the first world This is out of necessity India is producing highly skilled engineers at a higher rate than the US and they have much more of them

People got very upset about this post and they didn’t even know why If you are like viscerally against the h1b program You either have to admit you are racist, admit you have no competence in your chosen profession, or accept you are a fan of communism and everyone is entitled to work, regardless of work ethic, stakes, merit, skill, reason, etc. Being a racist isn’t “wrong” either, that’s fine, but you can’t use arbitrary hatred as any lever in a logical argument about work force and the economy and expect to win the argument. U will lose these arguments until you realize you are losing because… you are being stupid… you aren’t completely stupid, you just currently believe in something stupid and when you grasp this you will drop this belief that does not enhance your understanding or capability in the world at all. Someone from every race can do something better than you to such a level that it’s nearly impossible to comprehend exactly how skilled they are at that thing Things exist inherently but one of those things is exception Black people go to jail and are more aggressive yes but Michael Jordan didn’t and has billions of dollars and will be remembered for his unparalleled achievements forever Michael Jordan’s existence as an exception should not do anything to further prove all black people are no good for humanity in your head Michael Jordan’s existence as an exception demonstrates potential is only dished out by one’s own imagination and has little to do with skin color, that work ethic is required for all feats of greatness and this is true if you are MJ or Phil Jackson Exceptions to previously established patterns of thought in your mind are opportunities to get closer to truth Ignoring these and maintaining your current perception is living in fiction and insanity You know it’s not a real pattern that is true in reality yet you choose to believe it and think through complex problems with that being absolutely true The people that suffer from this purposeful stagnation and appeal to ignorance is you and whoever your growth would benefit I am not claiming you have a moral obligation to love or hate or help or harm I don’t care if you are racist you can make good arguments for why white people are more important historically than black people in terms of quality of life but I would ask why you are making this argument and I would ask to what benefit is the fact you are fighting to prove if determined so The historical achievements of an arbitrarily defined group of humans across centuries and land masses and governance does not give logical reason to current situations we find ourselves in and seeking solutions for in the present Having great pride in things you never had any connection to outside of pigmentation is in my opinion very embarrassing It’s a desperate and lazy attempt to create meaning and respect in your life by way of genetic inheritance and more often just a resemblance of this inheritance not the actual genetic similarities If your argument for why white people are universally deserving of greater respect or rights includes their inventions, their innovations, their prosperity, etc Back in the day it was just assumed this was the case, the renaissance era would have never happened if everyone took the time trying to prove their race held some significance in a society needing solutions to problems instead of becoming capable of valuable inventions and art the world had not yet seen The discussion of equality was not popular or relevant due to lack of genuine curiosity in the fact white superiority is debatable or not observable anywhere ever Many factors attributed to this but the point is if your only sense of being valuable to society is riding the coattails of people who are in no relation to you and just kinda look like you then you are worthless and the people you are arguing for would not ever respect you because you’re not creating valuable stuff for anyone

HIRE INDIANS (read before replying) I have hired a ton of Indians and got them h1bs I’m not saying this to belittle. I truly prefer Indians for dev work as of late because white niggas want 230k salary and don’t want to come to office Indians also show more loyalty and don’t immediately leave ur company when offered 15% salary increase from a company that’s been around for 3 weeks fresh off an overvalued seed Never heard an Indian tell me about work life balance and priorities like health and family They don’t feel entitled to those things I’m not speaking about dev shops or 5/hr contractors I’m talking about American university educated Indians Go ahead and reply something racist I bet it will be super funny but before you do that go to selfie mode on ur camera and ask the person you see if they have ever built a massively successful software product that millions of people have used and found value in The person you see probably hasn’t So maybe that person has no idea what they are talking about and has let narratives spun by media cloud their perspective on the workforce If it wasn’t the media then that person should have no opinion because they have never hired anyone let alone hired 50 plus full time employees who actually created something the market agreed was of value Now you can give your super intellectual (I’m sure) take on Indian programmers I’m sure it’s coming from a place of experience and expertise and not one of absolute jealousy and fear If immigrants are so bad why are you scared they are taking ur jobs The only way that makes sense is if they understand how to provide value to a company better than you “They will just take less” Is a terrible rebuttal because any employer who is good at what they do understands quickly that paying more for someone who is good is a much better strategy and is always better than finding the cheapest I synthesize it to the lack of entitlement I find in 3rd worlders If this post upsets you there’s a reason why and it’s nothing to do with me Now trump fcked up the h1b program and made it way more expensive to hire Indians He pandered to the unskilled entitled citizens of this country and to their small brains this was a good thing But to someone who understands the market he hurt all of these poor entitled fearful patriots Because now we can’t innovate as fast Now it’s more difficult to hire the best talent This means US companies make less money and employ less people overall Restricting companies choice in the market will only ever hurt the market in the medium to long term If ur scared ANYONE will take ur job, Indians, Mexicans, or AI, all that means is you need to be better at what you do It doesn’t mean anyone or anything needs to be banned or removed Take some responsibility the blame game hurts you in the end. Just grow as a person Tis the solution to all things

@MEvsIRS In summary, I believe many highly successful people overestimate their competence in other areas, valuing their opinions too greatly. "Import the third world, become the third world." Quickly becoming an undefeated and relatable adage for the simplicity in its observation.

@MEvsIRS In short, the reactionaries of today with a desire for meaning are warranted. Key observations here: Civilization wasn't built under the same conditions as today, it was built out of necessity. One need only look at who built what kind of civilization, weighing culture thusly.

@stonkstradamus Following trades makes me uncomfortable. You offer a strategy and a learning experience that I wouldn't compare to paid Discords. As for me, I have no interest in paying tuition to the market at this time. I see a long game being played out and it doesn't involve me.

I hate the way I've been trading and sorry if you've been taking trades I've called out that have been duds... That's why I don't feel comfortable with a discord because I don't wanna bag you AND take a monthly fee... Feels wrong... I gotta get back on my A-game.

@stonkstradamus @tradingview Also is Robinhood the best place to create an options Watchlist? Because ToS has to be one of the worst, but the fills are worth money. I know you can view OI in RH now but it's not a real options chain.

@stonkstradamus @tradingview Is the alert gray? Sometimes mine go off as soon as I set them because the current bar had "crossed over" and I can't set them.

You don’t need an inside day to make my levels… If there is no inside day, just make levels off the daily candle using the instructions below... All of this is in my highlights, even a video to show you how to do it. Free game.

@stonkstradamus Any simple methods or thought processes you use to evaluate options pricing, specifically finding underpriced options? Ex: I see wide spreads with huge 5x or 10x potential, I see the volume over OI and get a great fill, but it's a lottery ticket.. Trying to think backwards
