Congrats co-authors! Low-grade epilepsy associated tumors (LEATs) are a common cause of DRE 🧠 ⚡️ Here we provide proof of concept and prelim data for the analysis of residual tumor on SEEG electrodes to aid in diagnosis. Worth future study!

Congrats to co-authors!! In a large series of low grade WAD ped pts with f/u imaging ➡️ No new pathology in pts w/ or w/o persistent neck pain. These data should motivate further study of WAD long-term imaging guidelines and its cost effectiveness💰

Infectious/ inflammatory byproducts and new adhesions may 📈 risk of morbidity need for complex shunt & future shunt failure. Neuroendoscopic lavage may be a useful tool in select cases for lysing of adhesions and replacement of CSF. 🧠 💧
