At the tail end of a "meh" power play, Mason Lohrei gets stripped of the puck and it turns into a shorthanded goal for Zach Benson. Killer mistake. Game is tied 2-2 and then Lohrei takes a cross-checking penalty in frustration after the mistake and score. Brutal sequence
@MikeHoncho1997@NHLBruins I already know that kiddo Doesn’t mean that they didn’t get fucked tonight. Since you like research tell me the time you’ve seen one team get that many consecutive PPs with the other team not even getting one call
@HackswithHaggs It’s easy to blow a 4 goal lead when your opponent is handed that many power plays. After the 1st period the Bruins didn’t get one PP while Tampa had 6, including 2 5-on-3’s and 2 power plays in OT. The refs were an absolute joke. That many consecutive PPs for one team is a joke
David Pastrnak hits the post after beating Vasilevskiy with the double move and the Bruins lose in the shootout 6-5 in Tampa at the Stadium Series. Fun, action-filled game, but the Bruins obviously let it get away from them up by a 5-1 score.
@NHLBruins Couldn’t have a blow out in a big nationally televised game. Anyone else notice that as soon as the Bruins took a 5-1 lead they got called for 2 penalties in the next 2 minute And then 3 more later. Just a coincidence right?
@NHLBruins Not a good game all around but 3 soft goals by your supposed #1, doesn’t give you any shot whatsoever. I am 100% confident that they are never winning a cup with Sway in net. Too inconsistent. Too many games like tonight.
@CarbonCoffee224@smclaughlin9 I wonder if they did it like that so the focus would be squarely on Chara. If they did it against Montreal or Toronto people would be making comments about those teams so maybe it was purposefully done against a team with no connection at all to Chara or the Bruins
@smclaughlin9 The one thing that is a little off about this whole ceremony to me is the team they are playing against. They couldn’t have picked a more interesting game to have the ceremony before? Literally any eastern conference team makes this so much better.
Small nitpick but still.
Bruins' Jan. 15 game is now scheduled to start at 8pm. Fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 6:10 for the pregame ceremony, which will be hosted by Andrew Ference.
Why is Pavel Zacha the only defender in front of the Boston net? Timo Meier scores on a rebound in front that bounced right to him as he was stand standing there unguarded. 1-1 game. Lindholm and Peeke on the ice.
@HackswithHaggs It’ll be 3-2 Ottawa in the next couple minutes. Bruins only have 2 shots on goal in the first 13 minutes of the period. It feels inevitable
Joonas Korpisalo lets a Claude Giroux shot from the circle squirt through his pads and the Senators tie it up 2-2. Bruins really could have used a save there
