Its been great leading a team with @agrobaz, @GrainOrana, @far_australia & @Moodie_ag for @theGRDC Pulse Agronomy project. Total N-fix and N balance measured 2021-2023 (515 data points). Average pulse crop had ~100 kg N/ha leftover after harvest (excluding lentils @ 26 kg/ha).

Metro lentils coming in and impressed by the weed control with them. Not too many weeds got through. Just need a higher yielding variety but certainly a handy tool to use for some problem weed situations 👍@JasonBrand @CropDoctor54 @agrobaz @SeanM_DMAg_SA @mattelliott32

Lentils are coming off in the northern mallee now in places. Given the current market situation what price are you prepared to sell your lentils at, even if you have to sit on them for an extended period ?

Bit of old fashion hand weeding. Good opportunity to get up close and check the podding. Much better than I would expect in such a dry year.
