@bowtiedbrazil Central America is the same. This was today. We have no functional municipal govt due to in fighting. Garbage pickup is set to pause as a result. The waste treatment plant that was supposed to be open a year ago still hasn’t broken ground. But the weather can’t be beat!

Related I love Brazil but it does an absolutely terrible job marketing itself to the world All foreigners know about Brazil is favelas, carnaval and football, that's what I knew before too as a European coming here in the last 3 years The reality is completely different My friend visiting now "my dream is to visit the favela in Rio" I have to explain that no the wish of Brazilians is not to visit a favela There's much more beautiful things in Brazil than people robbing and murdering innocent people on the street every day (But I do like baile funk)

@21nixon2020 @qwanb5stiggers That’s not always a wise take. Depends on the vehicle and use. For my service fleet of sprinter vans with troublesome DPF systems, not having an extended warranty would have cost me several vehicles. Honda or Toyota? Different story.

@Young_Arab27 @qwanb5stiggers In case of GAP it’s prorated based on the length of time. So if you have a 60 mo loan and you payoff the vehicle early after 4yrs (like in a trade in or prepayment), you get the unused time refunded, so 20%. Warranties are also mileage limited so slightly different but similar
