With Martin Perez and Jose Suarez both pitching tonight, there's a chance one will have to go to fortify the bullpen over the next couple days. Dylan Dodd and Roldy Munoz are 40-man options who can throw multiple innings. J.R. Ritchie is scheduled to start tomorrow for Gwinnett. But it may make sense to let him make some starts and try to get by with 40-man options for now.

Curious who’s doing their insurance. This is notoriously difficult to get underwriters on board with and can end up costing multiples of normal sticks & bricks. Also already a more expensive state to cover for sale SFR product [although will be less so now with HB 2024 reducing statute of repose]

Every day on my way to and from my son's school, I drive by these 3D printed homes in Mueller (a master development in Austin, TX). 1,607 sq ft, 3 bed, 2 bath for $980,609. Icon Build is developing 12 homes on a single block. It's been incredible to watch as they've moved the printer up and down the street, printing one home after another. However, this seems far too expensive!

I was asked to present on commercial real estate as a career path at a University (Go Roadrunners!) last night. One of the students asked me afterwards if I felt the career was a good long term option for people who wanted families. I answered that my three kids were with me there in the back of the auditorium. They needed to come with me after school so I could make it on time. I wasn’t sure if that was a sign that it is or isn’t pro family but for me it was positive. Sometimes the lines are blurred and that’s ok. Almost on queue, my youngest (7) walks up to me when I’m talking to the next person, grabs my hand, squeezes it tight, kisses it and says “you did a great job Mom” Be still my heart! Sometimes parenting isn’t rushing to after school activities. Sometimes it’s just living life with them next to us and talking them through what we are doing and why. Mentorship at work isn’t rushing people off to more corporate training it’s inviting someone to walk along side you as they work and challenging them along the way. Sometimes I think parenting isn’t much different and we just overthink and over schedule ourselves.

@texasrunnerDFW Correct the boogeyman is the massive amount of inflation accumulated in the system over the past 4 years that is PERMANENT. Wages have not kept up. CPI is meaningless at this point. I mean a 300k house is 600k with rates at 7% and my salaries up 12% in 4 years.
