@AngAesthetics Everything the Pope says is not infallible. Papal infallibility is narrow, specific, and seldom used. 1950s and 1850s were the last times I believe and they were statements of dogma.

If your father commands you to beat up your sister, you do not owe absolute obedience. And when the Pope commands you to kill Hussites and Wycliffite women and children, you owe him condemnation.
The heart of the debate is over whether the Pope is a failed papa.

Papal infallibility is easy to understand if you see the Pope as a Father. When your father gives you advice, you owe him deference. When he gives you a command, you owe him absolute obedience.

@OrthodoxGabriel Yuh, lowkey RZ has already dragged people outside of both Catholicism and Eastern Orthodoxy. He is in severe mortal sin and needs saving penance. Otherwise, God will harden his heart.

He is so stupid. This that after Nicaea you had a FLOOD of Pagans converting to Christianity is laughably false. Christianity grew at a steady pace, roughly 3% per year.
They had an EXTREMELY long catechumenate process (unlike protestants).
RZ believes in a great apostasy.
