Huge congratulations to a certain someone who celebrated their 50th @parkrun today. Since leaving prison not only have they kept up parkrun but they are a regular at various running events recently smashing a marathon in 3:29, and a 10k in 43min. Well done 😊👏 #parkrun #proud

A prisoner has raised £416.30 for his local cancer ward who cared for his wife when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. He showed great determination & commitment to the cause, rowing 1 million and 13 thousand meters which is equal to 24 marathons & it took 73 hours👏

A couple of years ago when I didn’t think I could love @parkrunUK more, I found out they were organising runs in custodial estates. As the film below shows their work is truly transformative 😊 The last word sums it up best - Togetherness 🙏 #loveparkrun🌳

6 years or so ago @s_spencer2 a PEI at HMP Haverigg called me to ask if I would support @parkrunUK in Haverigg. I immediately saw that this was ‘bringing the outside in’ and would be a great success - it was and continues to be. Bravo Shane and @Prison_PE @broosterbear
