@boymonster Which is to say: What you’re asking is not usually an impediment to me, as I don’t really try to run/teach games that complex anymore. (And Cortex, for instance, is in my safe zone.)

@boymonster I only have trouble if it’s a LOT of new terms, they’re nonintuitive, AND the rules are pretty involved overall. Like, a game with primary character statistics & derived statistics, but it’s not clear from the names which is which.

@pangalactic Yeah, the side effects on Concerta are rough. As for Elvanse/Vyvanse, I gradually felt less impact & so gradually increased dosage until it got to feeling like I mentioned before (which is pretty good!).

@JasonT That's actually really good to know, I was wondering if people build up a tolerance to it over time etc I've definitely found that it's not made as dramatic a difference as Concerta XL did when I tried that, but that also wore off super fast & made me feel awful and this hasn't

I'll have more to say when I've been on it for more than 4 hours but holy shit, Elvanse is life-changing.

@pangalactic Thanks for sharing your experience! Makes me think I should talk to my doctor about taking a day off from this med from time to time. It was GREAT when I first started, and again when I got back on it after the pharmacy ran out for a few days. But I hope it STAYS great for you!

remember yesterday when my corporate job laid me off for "financial reasons" and then 4 separate teams were like "ok but we'll bring you back in freelance asap and pay you 3 times what you were making" lololol I do.

I check Twitter infrequently enough that I’m 5 days late to learn the company blocked 3rd party apps’ access without warning, dishonestly claiming this enforces “long-standing” rules about API use. I miss some people I only “see” on Twitter, but I don’t miss Twitter.
