Colts signed Notre Dame basketball forward Carson Towt with the idea of converting him to tight end.

So to recap: The Colts decided that the QB who is coming off of his one good season AND a torn Achilles is their guy. But they couldn’t re-sign said QB in time, thus placing the transition tag on him. And in the process leave their best WR in-protected. Chris Ballard, folks.

THIS. He's purposefully ducked out of view in recent years. Early in his tenure he was readily available and did weekly radio with calls from fans. Now he shows up only at NFL mandated press conferences (end of year, combine and pre/post draft).

@W_B_Rick Least amount of top 10 picks in the entire NBA since 1990 and only team that hasn’t even picked top 5 in that timeframe too

TJ McConnell faked out the Pacers bench by grabbing his hamstring and pretending to be injured 😭

Reached out for comment on this: “Coach Carlisle’s description of the process that went into the decision to fine the Indiana Pacers is inaccurate,” a league spokesperson told @YahooSports. “An independent physician led the medical review. In addition, the Pacers’ General Manager and the team’s Senior Vice President, Sports Medicine and Performance were interviewed as part of the process. The Pacers confirmed that it had provided all of the information requested by the league and the team reported that an interview with Coach Carlisle or a team physician wasn’t necessary.”

Rick Carlisle today opening up about the NBA’s $100,000 fine of the #Pacers: Full interview here: omny.fm/shows/the-fan-…

Rick Carlisle on Pacers' $100K fine for violating the Player Participation Policy: "During the interview (with the NBA), they also asked if we considered medicating (Aaron Nesmith) to play in a game when we were 30 games under .500." Carlisle said that Nesmith could not hold onto a basketball but the NBA "unilaterally decided" he should have played in the game in question, without talking to Nesmith or Pacers' doctors. x.com/kbowen1070/sta…

I have 0% faith that Adam Silver will make the right decision on this tanking stuff. Zero.

The Wizards have defeated the Pacers 112-105. Washington sat starters Kyshawn George and Tre Johnson, who both played in Friday’s Rising Stars exhibition, for the entire fourth quarter tonight. They played approximately 19 minutes apiece.
