Not only should there be more agricultural exemptions & provisions to protect farms from financial insolvency, but we should be incentivizing diversification. I want to see farmers encouraged to earn additional income, not less!

@bowtiedfarmer @RidgeFarmer Just cow carrying costs in the US is around $1000 average. That is the cost to keep one cow for a year.

Black Pill Cattle prices are higher than ever before. Quality all black steer calves are selling at around $2200 a head. Insanity. This is causing beef prices to soar. But think about it… Rancher takes 50 steers to the sale barn for a pay day of $110,000 Do you know how much time and money it takes to get 50 head of cattle to the sale barn? Farming cattle is actually still really not worth it tbh

Truth and transparency is the hallmark of true salt of the earth people. There is only one who has the right to judge. I look for solutions.
