I am combining the fact that we are STILL seeing the biggest DeFi machine fully stuck because of 0.002% of net assets potentially locked and the below to conclude that Aave somehow thinks its in their interest to let this simmer 2 weeks as long as no haircut and I think that’s wrong

One last thought on this: @aave I understand you want to get Kelp and LZ to pay up and won’t budge before they admit their fault. And they are the guilty parties obviously. However, this is quite clearly hurting you and your users. Even the broader DeFi and ETH ecosystem. And that’s absurd given the amount in relation to what is held at #Aave So instead let me propose the following: keep 10% of all $ETH collateral locked, keep $rsETH locked fully, lock the $ETH staked in Umbrella for any withdrawals. But then let everyone who needs to withdraw the rest. The 10% is easily enough to cover ANY shortfall and you can still work towards a legal resolution, while freeing your users AND probably helping your business @StaniKulechov

Canary already does all this and more and we have been in production for 2 years. Please dont launch anything without actual audits, its nice to have competition but this is not the way to do it. Productionising is hard and its a cool vibecoding project, making it a secure dvn is hard!
