I REJECT THE CONCOCTED RESULTS OF THE ADC PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARIES Following reports of widespread voter disenfranchisement in most parts of the country during the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Presidential Primaries yesterday, I unequivocally reject the concocted results being announced. I had initially stated that I will only accept the outcome of the Primaries if the process was free, fair, and transparent, and I stand by my word. I will not accept results from a process that does not reflect the values that the ADC had pledged to uphold, to rescue Nigerians from the impunity and gross mismanagement that our country is currently facing in the hands of the ruling party. There’s no way that about eighty percent of members of the party were not allowed to vote, and you expect me to accept such results. Then what makes us different from the others? The whole idea of the ADC was to give the Nigerian people a platform, to amplify the voices of the downtrodden, and make Nigeria a better place for everyone irrespective of backgrounds, ethnicity, or religion. A party that criticizes the ruling APC and INEC for vote buying, rigging and writing of results, cannot be engaged in vote buying, writing of results, and other electoral malpractices that leads to the disenfranchisement of voters who are party members. Tinubu President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called on Nigerians to pray for bandits and t+rrosists to abandon their criminal activities, while assuring citizens that his administration remains committed to defeating insecurity across the country. In his Eid-el-Kabir message released on Tuesday, the President congratulated Muslims in Nigeria and around the world on the celebration, describing the festival as a reminder of “faith, obedience, and the willingness to sacrifice for a higher purpose.” Tinubu urged Nigerians to embrace “sacrifice, selflessness, unity, and compassion,” stressing that the values symbolised by Prophet Ibrahim remain important in rebuilding the nation. Speaking on the country’s security challenges, the President acknowledged that att+cks by t+rrorists and bandits still persist despite efforts by security agencies. “I am aware that, despite the best efforts of our security and intelligence agencies, including the recent elimination of a wanted ISIS leader, heartless terrorists and bandits still att+ck some communities,” he said. “I assure you, you are neither abandoned nor forgotten. Highlighting the state of the economy, the President said the reforms introduced by his administration over the past three years were beginning to produce positive results. “The walk through the dark tunnel is over, and the light is here,” he said, adding that Nigeria is becoming “a preferred investment destination” that will drive economic growth and job creation. He ended the message by wishing Nigerians a peaceful and blessed Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

I think it really matters HOW you win the league. Arsenal's title has got little to no coverage, no eulogies from the media and no respect from rival fans. There are no dominant victories to talk about, no standout performers and the football they played was largely uninspiring. They were basically the least worst team in the division and in the end, hobbled over the line with some lucky decisions going in their favour. City's farewell for Pep and the players has got significantly more attention.
