Nick Shirley, thank you for having the courage to expose what so many Cubans have endured for decades. What you experienced is the reality of a system built on repression, surveillance, and fear. Cuba is not a narrative, it is a communist and socialist dictatorship that silences, intimidates, and punishes anyone who dares to speak the truth. Your experience only confirms what millions of Cubans have lived for over 60 years. The only way the Cuban people will truly be free is by ending that oppressive system and restoring liberty, democracy, and human dignity. The world needs to see this, and more people must have the courage to speak out. The Cuban people deserve freedom, dignity, and a future without fear.

🚨 I was almost taken hostage in Cuba... I went to Cuba to document the humanitarian crisis and show life under 60+ years of communism and now amid the US blockade. Once I landed, they seized all my cameras except my iPhone and had intelligence agents following me all day until my security noticed their spies tailing us to the hotel where they waited all night for us to come down. Under communism there is no free speech, and those who show the reality or speak up are imprisoned. Me going without a planned Cuban government guide nearly got me and my security taken hostage or imprisoned. The situation in Cuba is much worse than anyone knows.

Nerdy fun celestial event tonight (Sat). The Moon will slide in front of bright star Regulus creating a "lunar occultation" visible from *eastern* PA, MD, VA, NJ, NC, FL. Because the Moon has no atmosphere it won't dim but instead "wink out". No telescope or binoculars are needed

🇺🇸🇨🇺 A U.S. Navy surveillance drone spent six hours circling Cuba's coast... The same type used before the Venezuela raid An MQ-4C Triton launched from Jacksonville, flew Cuba's entire southern coastline, held a two-hour pattern near Santiago de Cuba, then circled Havana for another two hours before heading home. Flight trackers say they've never seen one fly this close to Cuba before. These drones typically show up in combat zones: the Black Sea, the Persian Gulf, the Mediterranean. The timing: the Pentagon is quietly ramping up planning for a possible operation in Cuba. Trump recently said he expects to have the "honor" of "taking Cuba, in some form." A U.S. delegation just landed in Havana for the first time in a decade. And Washington is choking off the island's oil supply. Last time this exact drone flew a mission like this from Jacksonville, it was a 10-hour recon sweep near Venezuela. Three months later, the U.S. raided Caracas and grabbed Maduro. Cuba should be paying attention.
