@HendrickD82 @Mobyhaque1 It’s not the actual players, it’s the fact he wanted players in January, they never backed him. He wanted Heitinga back, again they never backed him. All 3 are culpable for this shitshow but it doesn’t sit right with me that they avoid any scrutiny for awful decisions they make.

@Jawida76 @Mobyhaque1 Because we signed Jacquet and decided that 65mil for Semenyo was ridiculous. Which it was. Guehi has made multiple massive mistakes since going to City. Hugely overrated.

Wish we could say Nagelsmann is an option but unfortunately it will be too late this summer after World Cup.

@David_Ornstein @NBCSportsSoccer So another year of transition for Slot will prove he’s the right man? I’m sure Van Dijk signed up for 2 years of transition. Whatever bollocks Edwards & Hughes are feeding you is exactly that. Bollocks. We’re not stupid, we won’t be gaslit. 18 defeats, no CL yet. He needs to go.

🎖️ | @David_Ornstein: “Liverpool will want to recruit for Arne Slot this summer in particular in the winger position. I would expect one or two to come in. They think that will be crucial and once they have come in, that’s when you can perhaps judge Arne Slot more fairly. Liverpool will look to do more work in the transfer market.”

@elite_balltakes 19 defeats. That’s not hysteria. That’s failure. That’s unacceptable. And anyone who condones it you have to question whether they actually support the manager over the club.

There's nothing breaking here. The heirarchy at liverpool are not going to sack a manager who has proven he can win the league if you provide him with the right ammunition because some fans are angry. The owners themselves have Been on the end of fans hysteria before.

🚨 | BREAKING : ARNE SLOT 🇳🇱 Liverpool FC have planned a review meeting over Arne Slot’s long-term continuity at the club, ahead of the summer! 🇳🇱🚨🔴#LFC Arne Slot’s long-term future at the club is in doubts following poor results this season. However, the sporting department at Liverpool are NOT at panic as of now. ❌️🤝🏻 The current believe at Arne Slot's camp is that he WILL continue as the headcoach for next season, and is already preparing the backroom staff and signing for the summer. 🚨🔴 No decision yet by Liverpool FC on Arne Slot’s future, but club’s performances against Aston Villa and Brentford will be important, as club to hold the review meeting after the Brentford game. 👀⏳️

@OxtonSoulBoy @theliverpoolway @jrewingL4 31 games, 44 points. Where would be without those 5 wins at the start of season? Absolutely criminal he’s still here never mind next season. As Dave says constantly, Edwards is not to be trusted and his ego will leave a stain on next season I fear.

@JamesPearceLFC “Arne, there were loud boos with your decision to sub the most dangerous player on the pitch and boos at the end signalling the fans no longer have your support. Do you feel that you can continue when it’s clear the fans have no faith in you and your tactics?” I dare you…

FT: #LFC 1 Chelsea 1: Boos around Anfield at the final whistle. Boos even louder when Slot subbed off Ngumoha. Dream start through Gravenberch but lost their way and Fernandez equalised. Szoboszlai/Van Dijk hit woodwork but didn't deserve any more than a point. So much wrong.

@DKingTelegraph I watched the press conference yesterday. Not one journalist asked him a question about why does he not take any accountability and there was even one who actually said would next season be transitional like this one. Pathetic. Swallowing the PR bullshit fed by the egos.

@yakobper90 United home. It was clear by then we had problems which carried over from last season which he was unable to fix and they were at their lowest ebb yet still beat us at home. The rest is history…

I’m actually curious to know what was the specific moment or match that made people realise Slot is not the guy for this job? I personally accepted it after Chelsea away in October but I’m intrigued to know what was other people’s breaking point.

@JamesPearceLFC You and your journalist pals might be divided but the fanbase isn’t. We’ve wanted him gone for months despite the endless PR guff that’s been issued by Edwards & Hughes through to you and your colleagues. The smartest people in football? The exact opposite if he’s here in July.

This was no hard luck story and the statistics are grim - 18 defeats, 2pts out of 24 away to teams in the top half, & losing home/away to both Manchester clubs for the first time since 1912-13. A bad day for Slot as the same old issues blight Liverpool. nytimes.com/athletic/72503…

@johngibbonsblog We spent £450 million in the summer and he’s made those new players and those we had already worse. So no, he will never win the league again. Such a bad take and I hope there’s not an ulterior motive behind it.

@alex_crook And yet your mate Hughes is keeping a man in a job who’s had 18 defeats and counting this season. Any other club that is a sackable offence but his ego will keep Slot in a job. And that will set us back years.

That was more stressful than it should have been but job done in the end and Champions League football secured. Hard to make a case for not giving Michael Carrick the gig permanently. Remember when the old manager didn't wanna play Mainoo? A stackable offence in itself #MUFC

FT: Manchester United 3 #LFC 2: Liverpool beaten at Old Trafford. Slot's side only have themselves to blame. Such a poor first-half display. Much improved after the break with goals from Szoboszlai and Gakpo restoring parity but couldn't kick on and Mainoo got the winner.
