Two years in tech sales can change the trajectory of your life Before tech sales, I left school at 17 Washed dishes. Got fired. Burned out doing commission-only sales and made nothing. I genuinely thought I'd never find something I was good at that actually had growth opportunities. Then I broke into an SDR role at 18. I had no degree. no network. Got told I was to young and had no experience Quickly realised I needed to show companies I was capable so I cold emailed hiring managers. Here's what happened in two years: Made $70k my first year. Joined a unicorn at 19. Hit six figures in my second year. Travelled the world both personal and work related Got promoted from SDR to AE in 6 months. Met some great people that have opened lots of doors Money's one thing. But for the first time I actually enjoyed what I did. I was excited to wake up every day. Stayed in the office after hours because I wanted to make more $ and learn more. I finally had a vehicle for my hunger and ambition. A clear promotion path. A way out. It changed my life. My org recently started testing Reddit for prospecting.
 Basically tracking conversations in specific cloud infrastructure subreddits…
 -competitor complaints
-people asking for recommendations
-general frustrations
 Then triggering outreach based on that.
 Interested to see how this works because Reddit is very unique from other channels.
 Feels like there’s something there if done right.
