THIS is what it means to diversify your income. Since I'm in fulltime school+work, I can't stream as much. So my goal this year was to start making money on platforms that I already post to. Yes! I thought I was finally starting to see growth on my page. I’m just beginning my YouTube journey and it’s so frustrating. Not to mention even trying to watch a video for my own enjoyment right now is just impossible, the ads freeze in middle and you have to close or the app itself freezes. Super annoying

This is happening to SO many creators on YouTube right now! Both small and large creators as you can see from @LaurasKitchen in her latest video linked below. This is NOT okay @YouTube! It's getting worse and worse every day! So many creators constantly showing how much live streams are failing, videos aren't being pushed and overall viewership on a massive decline. Yet when we do see YouTube updates being pushed, it's all revolving around AI slop. What are you doing YouTube? Stop prioritizing your AI updates and fix your platform! My biggest pet peeve is when someone gives advice about audio, AND IT'S WRONG ahh With a degree in Post Production (editing) and 10 years working in the industry for tv, my advice is... Audio Mixer OBS: Voice: -5db (THE RED ZONE IS GOOD, never get to 0) Game: between -20db & -15db (Yellow) Music: between -45db & -35db (Low Green) People saying never to put audio in the red zone are flat out wrong. You want to avoid distortion, which is when it peaks at 0 and above, but your voice should be louder than the game. Hope this helps!
